Silent scarlet-lips and blind chocholate-eyes

Countless times have I performed
This very same, miserable ritual
Sleep deprived
Numbed my senses
In thy absence mortified

“…and yet I smile”

Silence be the word thou speaketh
For this deaf soul o’mine
Who won’t hear, won’t have
Nor won’t renounce
You

“…and yet I smile”

So ,yes, I shall confess
For hereby I pronounce my faith
I do hallow thy name
And long for thou to be the one who came
To cure this illness named life

“…and yet, for you, I smile”
